Randy J. Dufrene, 48, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, November 10, at 1:55 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Gaynell L. Dufrene; his first wife, Kim L. Dufrene; mother, Willa Mae Rodriguez Dufrene; son, Derek “Bud” Dufrene; daughter, Lauren E. Dufrene; sisters, Darlene D. Powell and husband J.W., and Janis D. Giroir and husband Terry; grandchildren, Kelsie E. Arcement and Brenna C. Arcement; two nieces; 1 nephew; one step-niece; 4 great-nieces; six great-nephews; one great-step-niece; and two step-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin “C.J.” “Duff” Dufrene; daughter, Gillian M. Dufrene; grandparents, Cleveland and Vernice Rodriguez, and Elier and Leontine Dufrene; and godchild, Rickey J. Bader.
Be was a band member of Southern Cross, Halifax, Axis and Masquerade.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
