Raymond “Ray” Charles Neigel Jr., 65, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014.
Mr. Neigel was an avid Saints and Tulane fan and was a charter member of the Hercules Carnival Club. He was associated with the finance industry for numerous years and was proprietor of Finance One of Houma, La. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Dernise Clement; former wife, Sandy Ostheimer; sons, Matthew and Nathaniel (Celeste) Neigel; stepson, Bryan (Yong Cha) Bougard; sister, Theresa Naffe; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Neigel; sister, Bridget Neigel; and parents, Raymond Sr. and Audrey Neigel.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
