Raymond Jackson Sr., 69, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Pleasantville, N. J., died Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center in Galloway, N. J.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Redmond Jackson of Pleasantville; one son, Raymond Jackson Jr. of Pleasantville; two daughters, Christine Jackson of Pleasantville and Terri Jackson of Clarksville, Tenn.; three brothers, Melvin Jackson of San Francisco, Calif., and Lawrence Jackson Jr. and Henry Jackson of Thibodaux; and two sisters, Essie Mae Jackson of Thibodaux and Lorraine Jackson of Chalmette, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Jackson Sr. and Dorothy Rounds Jackson; and one sister, Roselee James.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29, at Magnolia United Methodist Church on Johnson Ridge. A religious service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with burial at Blue Lilly Cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
