March 15, 2018Rene LeBouef Jr. 64, a resident of Bourg, passed away on March 12, 2018.
Rene was a minister, he loved his life on the water as a Tugboat Captain. He was a member of Circuit Riders”Riding for Jesus”. He was a very loving and giving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume Friday, March 16, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue from 9:00am until 11:00am. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the Bisland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years – Yvonne C. LeBouef, son – Willie Rene LeBouef and wife Kelly; daughter – Kayla Renee Plaisance and husband Dustin; 2 grandsons – Malachi LeBouef, Cooper Plaisance; 2 granddaughters – Karli Plaisance, Londyn Plaisance; 2 sisters – Betty McElroy and husband Dale Sr., Jeanine Lirette and husband Timmie, mother-in-law – Mary Jane Credeur.
He was preceded in death by his son – Chad LeBlanc; parents – Rene LeBouef Sr. and Jeannette Pellegrin LeBouef; brother – Ronald LeBouef, Sr.; sister – Jane Ann LeBouef, father-in-law – Willie Credeur.
