Richard P. “Dick” Guidry, 84, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Wednesday, March 26, 2014.
Mr. Guidry was a state representative for 16 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Guidry; children, Dennis (Carol), David (Mary) and Phyllis Guidry, Lillie (Tad) Ledet and Lisa Rogers; brother, Robert Guidry; sister, Rosie Harris; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian Guidry; son, R. Paul Guidry; and brother, Lloyd Guidry.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
