Rita C. Thibodeaux, 89, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, July 19, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Hector Jr. (Janet) Thibodeaux; daughters, Thelma Thibodeaux and Darlene (Russ) Dannettelle; stepsons, Gerald (Janet) and Robert Sr. (Brenda) Thibodeaux; stepdaughter, Genevia (Lucian) Ordoyne; sister, Shirley Boudreaux; and numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Thibodeaux Sr.; parents, Alcee and Laura Chiasson; stepdaughter, Jane Ledet; brothers, Dennis, Clarence and Huey Chiasson; and sisters, Leonise and Maria Gauthier, Mae and Elise Morvant and Rosa Chiasson.
Burial was at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
