Rita Marie Mason, 44, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Bernard Mason of Houma; four daughters, Cheryl, Alisha, Markette and La’Quinita Mason, all of Houma; two brothers, Charles Mason of Houma and Willie Mason and wife, Yvette, of Chauvin, La.; three sisters, Sandra Kennedy and husband, John of Houma, Lorraine Short and husband, Norris of Gibson, La., and Sherril Evans and husband, Williams of Texas; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Bill Mason Sr.; one sister, Christine Mason; and her grandmother, Abbie Sims.
She was Catholic and a homemaker.
Burial was at Southdown Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
