Robert “Bobby” Paul Cox, 22, a native of Houston, TX, and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at 9:30 a.m.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Kay Chen Cox; two brothers, Philip Cox and Timothy Cox; one sister, Deborah Denova Baker and her husband, Paul; his grandmother, Chen,hwan-lai; his step-grandmother, Virginia Martinez; and one niece, Alaya Baker.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ida Cox; his grandfathers, Paul Martinez and Chen,wu-hsin.
Robert graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School and was a student and basketball player at Nicholls State University. He died with his family by his side and went peacefully.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 17, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 18, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral to follow at Chauvin Funeral Home.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
