Robert “Smokey” Elfert Chiasson, 83, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Chiasson; and nephew, William Fitch.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Sidney and Beatrice Chiasson; and sister, Rose Fitch.
Burial was at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland. (Falgout)
