Robert Hill, 21, a native of Boutte, La., and a resident of Houston, Tx., died Sunday, April 19.
He is survived by his fiance’, Monique Smith of Houston; mother, Bobbie H. Brown and stepfather Gilbert Brown of Houma, La.; son, Jazien Lofton of Gray, La.; daughter, Ka’Nyelah Noelle Sands of Chattanooga, Tn.; brothers, Mark Hill of Boutte and Frank and Henry Ballard of Houma; step-brother, Devaugha Brown of Thibodaux, La.; sisters, LaThendra Ivoryana Ballard of Houma, Shanka Champagne of Hahnville, La., Latrell Markey of Luling, La., and Ra’Shawn Marrios Reed; and grandparents, Leona and Anthony Griffin of Ama, La., and Ernest Coleman Jr. of Boutte.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cornell Coleman; grandparents, Bobbie Hill and Geraldine Coleman; and great-grandmother, Veronica King.
He enjoyed playing basketball, cutting hair and cooking.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April 27, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Boutte with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
