Robert Matthews LaGarde, 56, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011.
Mr. LaGarde was a member of Residence Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy LaGarde; sons, Robert (Kameron) Steward and Ryan (Tandalaya) Williams; daughters, Tyra (Gregory) Sasita, RaShaan Wallace, Bernadette (Melvin) Porter, Bernita Jordan and Kasey Hawkins; brother, Larry (Gail) LaGarde; sisters, Sharia (Samuel) Triplett and Robin Matthews; 28 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Residence Baptist Church with burial to follow at Union Benevolent Cemetery. (Community)
