Robert Richard

Robert Francis Richard, 67, a native of Illinois with roots in Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Denver, Colo., died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010.

Mr. Richard enjoyed poetry, painting, fishing, camping, working with Nicotine Anonymous, shooting pool, playing dominoes, chess and online Texas Hold ’em.

He is survived by sons, Michael (Kim) and Daniel (Tamara) Richard; daughter, Christine Collery; brothers, Raymond (Jonell) and Dennis (Marne) Richard; sisters, Marialice (Ned) Montoya, Anne (Rich) Ponkauskas and Teri Lynn Richard; and eight grandchildren, Michael, Joshua and Emily Richard, Jena Degraff, Colin, Grace, and Brendan Collery, Briana and Madelynn Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Richard.

He is buried at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Section A.
