October 23, 2010Robert G. Wilson Sr., 79, a native of Larue, Texas, and resident of Raceland, La., died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Matherne Wilson; sons, Gary, Robert Jr. and Tracy Wilson; daughter, Bobbie Sue Mock; brother, Jerry Wilson; sisters, Laverne Ford, Annette Tramell, Norma O’Neal, Nancy Smith and Betty Hallowell; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy C. Wilson and Francis McCool Dollar; two brothers, Calvin and Johnny Wilson; and one grandchild, Leonard Wilson.
He is buried at Rogers Cemetery.
