Robin Elizabeth Pellegrin, 49, a native of Houma, La., and resident of New Orleans, La., died Monday, April 11, 2011.

Ms. Pellegrin was a gifted artist and employed by Delgado Community College. She loved nature and the South Louisiana marshes and Barrier Islands. She was deeply loved by her family and many friends on the bayou and in the city.

She is survived by her parents, Irvin and Sandra Pellegrin; sister, Wendy Landgraf; brothers, Randall (Liz) and Corey (Amanda) Pellegrin; nephews, Nicholas Stassi, and Christian and Blake Pellegrin; nieces, Brooke, Amanda and Laura Pellegrin; aunts, Shirley (Lincoln) Lirette and Nelwyn (Allen) Robichaux; and her friendly companion, Ringo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Camille and Cecile Pellegrin; and Jessie “Jack” and Nell Jackson.
