Roger Brooks, 61, a native and resident of Belle Rose, La., died at Assumption Community Hospital in Napoleonville, La., Thursday, April 10.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Bell of Memphis, Tn.; daughters, Adrian Lewis of Akron, Oh., and Yolanda Robertson and husband, Lawrence, of Baton Rouge, La.; stepsons, Eugene Anderson and wife, Frances, and Corey Anderson, all of Memphis; sisters, Cleotha Brimmer and husband, Clarence, of Donaldsonville, La. and Catherine Jones of Bertrandville, La.; brothers, Charles Brooks Jr. of Chicago, Il. and Linell Brooks of Belle Rose; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Mildred Lewis Brooks; two brothers; and two sisters.
He was buried at Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Belle Rose.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
