Roland Peter LeBouef, 85, a native and resident of Houma, La., died after a lengthy illness of leukemia at Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:44 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Redmond LeBouef; one daughter, Gloria LeBouef Boudreaux and her husband Stephen; one sister, Ora Arcement; four grandchildren, Vicky Collins, Chad Boudreaux, Michelle Andrews, and Brandy Branson; and six great-grandchildren, Jordan Boudreaux, Nicole Smith, Jillian Collins, Taylor Natale, T.C. Natale, and Ashton Branson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Ada LeBouef; one daughter, Carol LeBouef Andrews; and one brother, Raymond LeBouef.

Roland was a devout Episcopalian. He retired from Halliburton.

No services are scheduled, and a private burial will be at a later date.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
