Roland Ledet, 70, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, August 10, 2011.

Mr. Ledet was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and was a salesman with Baker Atlas Wireline Services for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing after he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Breaux Ledet; daughters, Kelly Burlette and Aimee (Benjamin) Krog; son, Brian Ledet; five grandchildren, Mary Anne and Emma Burlette, and George, Anne and Charlotte Krog; and siblings, C.J. (Rosalie) Crochet, Larry Ledet and Gayle (Bobby) Fonseca.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Louise Bourg Ledet.

He is buried at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
