Roland Louis Arcement, 89, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, August 6, at 6:51 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Rogers Arcement; sons, Leroy Arcement and wife Eurella, and Ronald Arcement and wife Una; daughters, Judy Griffin and husband Fred, and Miriam Adams and husband Surgin; brother, Alvin Arcement; sister, Rita Mae Arcement Theriot; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Agnes France Arcement; brothers, Oville, Clarence, Eneas, Fred, Roy and Norman Arcement; and sister, Eve A. Legendre Gros.

He was a lifetime member of the Lockport Volunteer Fire Department and a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangement.
