Houma museum takes flight with new display
April 22, 2010Rosalie Celina Billiot Dardar, 81, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010.
Mrs. Dardar was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Isle de Jean Charles band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw Tribe.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Antoine Joseph Dardar of Houma; sons, Willis Sr., Joseph (Francis), Jerry (Gail), Perry Sr. (Lena), Michael Sr. (Jamie) and Tommy (Penny) Dardar; daughters, Brenda (Earl) Billiot, Theresa (Donald) Dardar and Terry (Ronald) LeBlanc; 31 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Clodilla Billiot Chaisson.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
