Rose Anderson Duncan, 81, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Belle Rose, La., died Thursday, April 24, at 11:15 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Anderson, Joseph Duncan Sr. and Chester Duncan Sr.; daughters, Rose L. Duncan, Louise LeBlanc, Rose M. Wise, Yvonne Duncan, Odette Duncan and Annie Duncan; brother, Wilbert Anderson Sr.; sisters, Viola Wilson, Leona Duncan, Audrey Williams and Yvonne Anderson; 44 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norah Duncan Jr.; her parents, Joseph Anderson Sr. and Camelia Batiste Anderson; stepson, Delano Norah Duncan; brothers, Alfred Anderson, Joseph Anderson Jr. and Harry Anderson; and sisters, Olivia McBride and Annie M. Starks.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Canaan Baptist Church in Plattenville, La., with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
