Downed economy, cold makes hard job tougher

Rose Mary Webre Rodrigue, 78, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Marcel) Fournet, Kathleen (Dean) Ockmond, Rose (Errol) Cuneo, Mary Hebert, Bonnie (Corbert) Chaisson, Diane (Timmy) LeBlanc, Theresa (Dr. Mark III) Roy, and Wendy (Paul) Falgoust; 18 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth W. Downs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Rodrigue Jr.; parents, Damase and Beatrice Becnel Webre; sisters, Beatrice Oubre, Stella Cazenave, Odile Webre, Therese Talbot and Rita Gilmore; and brothers, Victor and Joseph Webre.

Interment was at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie.
