Rose Marie Beamon Walker, 75, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, January 10, 2008.
She is survived be seven daughters, Ann Marie Tate, Patsy McKinley, Charmine Parhas, Avia Walker, Raunaha Walker, Kimberly Walker Johnson, and Cherry Walker; one brother, Oliver Beamon Sr.; two sisters, Eula Flakes and Stella Dorsey; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dilton Walker Sr.; parents, Abraham and Stella Rohillard Beamon; three sons, Darryl, Andre, and Dilton Walker Jr.; one daughter, Victoria Moss; two brothers, Lawrence and Clarence Beamon Sr.; and one sister, Alma Beamon Rhines.
Rose was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Thibodaux, La.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at St. Peter Baptist Church in Thibodaux with the funeral to follow. She will be buried in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery #2.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La. is in charge of the arrangements.
