Rosemond Gisclair, 87, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, March 17, at 9:57 p.m.
He is survived by his sons, Druby Gisclair and wife, Ruth, and Curtis Gisclair and wife, Cathy; daughters, Wynn Rousse and husband, Lanny, and Hazel Gisclair Pere; brother, Woodrow Gisclair; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren (twins).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Galliano Gisclair; his parents, Ulysses Sr. and Euside Charpentier Gisclair; brothers, Theotime, Ulysses Jr. and Burney Gisclair; and sister, Francine Gisclair Brunet.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion and VFW. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was buried Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
