Ruby Vega Adams, 82, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Wednesday, March 19, at 11:40 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Clayo Adams; son, Mike Adams of New Orleans, La., daughters, Regis Adams of Cut Off and Bessie Senette of Lafayette, La.; brothers, Edway and Earl Vega; sister, Beatrice Charpentier; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Alida Guidry Vega; daughter, Mazie Adams; brothers, Joseph Vega, Raphel Vega and infant brother Wildred (Co-co) Vega; sisters, and Edwina Ginter, Dorita Pitre, Madeline Duet and Marian Charpentier.
She was a parishioner of United Methodist Church in Golden Meadow and her hobbies included cooking.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, at United Methodist Church with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
