Ruth Crane Crighton, 77, a native of New Orleans, LA. and a resident of Thibodaux, LA., died Wednesday, March 14, 2007.
A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at St. Augustine Seminary Chapel, 199 Seminary Dr.( off Highway 90), Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Burial will be in the Hope Mausoleum, 4841 Canal St., in New Orleans.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alexander M. Crighton Jr.; two sons, Alexander M. III and Christopher E. Crighton; and one brother, Edmund Crane.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Ruth Crane; one daughter, Cynthia Crighton Taylor; and one brother, William Crane.
Born in New Orleans, she raised her family in New Orleans and Lafayette, LA. Upon retirement, she moved to Bay St. Louis where she resided until she was displaced by Hurricane Katrina. At the time of her death, she was residing in Thibodaux.
