Ruth Plaisance Loupe, 58, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Thursday, March 20.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Loupe Jr. and Jason Loupe and companion Lisa Knight; daughter, Jessica Colson and husband Joseph Colson III; brothers, Ernest, Wade, Ray, Reed, Dale and Joey Plaisance; sisters, Marybelle Boudreaux, Gloria Bourg, Joy Adams, Marilyn Hebert and Judy Plaisance; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Loupe Sr.; parents, Julien and Cecile LeBlanc Plaisance; brothers, Gene, Joseph, Gerard and Julien Jr. Plaisance; and sister, Deborah Plaisance.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with a mass of Christian burial to follow. She will be buried at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
Falgout Funeral Homes of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
