Sadie Mire Thibodaux, 90, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, August 19, 2007, at 12:30 a.m.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sylvia Adams and her husband Olie, Virginia Casse and her husband Joseph, and Gloria Rogers and her husband Murphy; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O.J. Thibodaux; her parents, Ignace and Cecile Arabie Mire; one son-in-law, Irvin Gravois; and one grandson, Glenn Gravois.
Sadie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Visitation is Thursday, August 23, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, August 24, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Thibodaux Funeral Home. She will be buried in St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
