Sandy Theriot Sapia, 57, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:35 a.m. Monday, August 11.
She is survived by her companion of 31 years, Richard Sapia; one sister, Annick Calvert; and her beloved cat, Whiskers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Theriot Jr.; her stepmother, Laura Thibodaux Theriot; her mother, Renee Gireau Theriot; and one sister, Aline Theriot.
No services are scheduled.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
