Shirley Folse, 78, a native of Mathews, La. and a resident of Larose, La. died Monday, December 10, 2007, at 4:15 a.m.
She is survived by her four sons, Gerard Folse and his wife Janet, Ferrel Folse and his wife Marlene, Bryan Folse and his wife Karen, and Kurt Folse; five daughters, Glorietta Chiasson and her husband Douglas, Maureen Foret and her husband Ronald, Madonna Eschette and her husband Weldon, Monica Hoffpauir and her husband Doug, and Angela Falgout and her husband Frankie; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Folse; and her parents, Cleveland and Elsie Bellanger.
Shirley was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews. She was a loving wife to her late husband Jules for 59 years. They are now together again in the presence and everlasting love of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Heavenly Father.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 12, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La., with the funeral to follow at St. Hilary Catholic Church. She will be buried in Resurrection Memorial Park in Mathews.
