Shirley Gilfour Tabor, 66, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Chackbay, La., went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, May 27.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Nolan “Bingo” Tabor; children, Dosha Holden Voiron, James “Jimmy” Holden, Eric Holden, Wanda Tabor Truxillo and Rebecca “Beckie” Benoit; stepchildren, Hedrick Tabor and Dale Tabor; brothers, Robert, Jerry, Larry and Roy Gilfour; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Gilfour and Mathilda Adams Gilfour; grandson, Eric Holden Jr.; and great-grandson, Bryson Guidry.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of the House of Prayer in Thibodaux.
She was buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
