Steven Lee Chiasson, 53, a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Valentine, La., died Saturday, December 6.
He is survived by his parents, Herman P. and Lula Mae Chiasson; brothers, Ted Chiasson and Michael Chiasson and wife Joyce; sister, Deborah Chiasson Cheramie and husband Carl White; nephews, Alan Cheramie and Billy Chiasson; and nieces, Lee Ann Cheramie and Joni Chiasson.
He was preceded in death by his godchildren, Michelle Chiasson and Angela Stevens.
He was Catholic and enjoyed watching football. He will be missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland, La., with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Barrios Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
