Sylvia Anne Landry, 67, a native of New Orleans, La., and former resident of Napoleonville, La., died Wednesday, March 30, 2011.

Mrs. Landry was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville and was active at the Assumption Activity Center. After the deaths of her parents, she moved to Griffin, Ga., to be near her brother. She lived and worked at the Griffin Area Resource Center. She was a joy to all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sisters, Janet Porsch and Clarisse (Joe Kipphutt) Landry; brother, Gil (Sandra) Landry; aunt, Hazel LeBlanc; nieces, Nicole Williams, Shannon Newcomb and Robin Landry; and many cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Hilda Marroy Landry.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Assumption Activity Center, P.O. Box 1040, Napoleonville, LA 70390 or to The Griffin Area Resource Center, 931 Hamilton Blvd., Griffin, GA 30223 in memory of Sylvia Anne Landry.

She is buried at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
