Thelma Falgoust

Thelma Granier Falgoust, 86, a native of Bayou Bouef, La. and resident of Vacherie, La., died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2007.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Donald J. Falgoust of Vacherie and Rodney C. Falgoust and wife, Kathleen, of New Orleans, La.; one daughter, Fay F. Schexnayder and husband, Jerry, of Vacherie; two brothers, Norman and Leodora Granier of Bayou Bouef; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine Falgoust; her parents, Theodore Granier Sr. and Louise Cortez Granier; one son, Roy Falgoust; one brother, Theodore Granier Jr.; and one sister, Marie G. Parsons.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
