Corps of Engineers wins flood fight during Gustav

Thelma Foret Boudreaux, 91, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, September 11.
She is survived by one daughter, Gerilyn B. Talbot; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Boudreaux; her parents, Sidney and Esthelle Richard Foret; one son, Carroll Boudreaux; one granddaughter, Pamela B. Montano; four brothers, Albert, Adley, Junius and Jules Foret; and three sisters, Lucille Schouest, Gladys Gros and infant Elma Foret.
She was buried at St. Philomena Cemetery in Labadieville.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
