Thelma Hamilton, 89, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Wednesday, January 30, 2008.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Queen, Helen Queen and Robbin Queen, all of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Taylor; her parents, Samuel Hamilton and Emma Minor Hamilton; daughters, Helen Hamilton, Dorothy Hamilton and Linda Queen; brothers, Junius, William and Clarence Hamilton; sisters, Eva Hamilton, Louise Meads, Lillian Hamilton, Earline Johnson, Lucy Raymond and Almetha Williams; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Minor.
Thelma was Baptist.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Christ Missionary Baptist Church with funeral service to follow. She will be buried in Crescent Farm Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
