Thelma Savoie Danos, 86, a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, January 4.
She is survived by her sons, Allen Danos Jr. and wife Mary, and Hank Danos and wife Rodlyn; sister, Daisy Duet; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Danos Sr.; parents, Armant Leopold and Lucie Richoux Savoie; brothers, Elix Savoie, Estival Savoie, Duffy Savoie, Neuves Savoie, Sidney Savoie and infant Armant; and sisters, Beulah Trosclair, Cesla Adams and Victoria Curole.
She was co-founder of Danos & Curole Marine Contractors. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, January 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
