Theotine “Theo” Ulysse Dardar, 85, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, La., and a resident of Montegut, La., died Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Eveline Verdin and husband Wickliff Verdin, Brenda Sole’ and husband George Sole’ Sr., Deldine Dufrene and husband Lionel Dufrene Sr., and Nolia Dardar; sons, Eubert Dardar and wife Avelia, and Gilbert Dardar and wife Gayle; sisters, Anita Dardar, Anna Billiot and Nate Brunet; brothers, Andrew, Parish and Sam Dardar; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julienne Billiot Dardar; parents, Bazil and Zelia Dardar; sons, Hebert and Robert Dardar; and grandson, Willie Verdin.
He was a volunteer for the U.S. Government
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Bisland Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
