Theresa “Tee” Herbert Brown, 70, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died, Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010.

She is survived by her daughter, Tessa (Michael Sr.) Dickerson; sons, George, Mervin (Crystal) and Edward (Kenya) Thomas; brothers, Marshall (Maena) and Howard Herbert; sisters, Audrey Sheffie, Joyce (William) Harris, Jessie Amos, Janice (Benny) Oliver and Gail (Larry) Trosclair; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Mervin Herbert Sr.; sister, Lucille Bonner; and brothers, Ernest, Larry, Mervin and Clarence Herbert.

She was a homemaker,

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father John Obele will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church followed by burial at the church cemetery.

Williams & Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
