Theresa Marie Matherne Prosperie, 81, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
Mrs. Prosperie was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Prosperie, Elaine (Roland) Pitre and Eva (Spencer) Adams; sons, Myron “Black”, Claude Jr. “Dutt” (Elsie), Wayne “Boo” (Rhonda) and Bryan “Coonie” (Mary) Prosperie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and half-sister, Mary Anne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Joseph Prosperie Sr.; parents, Alphonse Matherne and Ammie Brunet; daughter-in-law, Karen Prosperie; grandsons, Myron Prosperie and Jeremy Bourg; granddaughter, Mary Prosperie; and great-grandson, Joshua Prosperie.
She is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
