September 14, 2011Therese Gaubert, 93, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011.
Mrs. Gaubert was a member of the Third Order of Carmelites, a longstanding active member of St. Genevieve Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Ekiss, Anne (Charles) LaRose, Faie (Lloyd) Duplantis and Martha (Chester) Christensen; 17 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Uriel Gaubert; parents, Benedict and Lucille Sposito; sisters, Marie Maloney, Estelle Bergeron, Marguerite Traigle and Anne Albert; and brother, Lloyd Sposito Sr.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Landry’s)
