Lenten Gumbo served for 20 years, still going strong

Thomas Hogan, 75, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Mr. Hogan was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Hogan of Raceland; daughters, Cynthia Zamora and Flavia (Keith) Wheaton, all of Raceland; sons, Clyde (Marilyn) and Todd Collins of Raceland; sister, Geneva (Adam) Toussaint of Raceland; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Flavia Hogan; son, Alonzo Hogan; brothers, Cleveland Jr., Eugene, Edward and Alvin Hogan; sisters, Gracie Davis, Aretha Charles, Edna Chisley, Dorothy Gale, Mary Morris and Martha Tucker.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
