Senator Circle residents oppose duplex donation
July 29, 2010Thomas Dalton “Tracy” James Sr., 93, a native and resident of Johnson Ridge, La., died Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
Mr. James was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and collecting antiques.
He is survived by his daughters, Audrey Mae West, Calamity (Aurthur) Willis, Joyce (Wayne) Hollis, Cindy James, Alberta Joseph, Valerie Anderson and Vera (William) Thompson; stepdaughter, Deidra Triggs; sons, Andrew Neville, Elroy, Randy, Tracy, Kennith, Keith, Dalton, Donald (Amy), Derreck, Joseph and Frank James; stepson, Murphy Triggs; 77 grandchildren; 125 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Triggs James; former wife, Rosemane James; parents, Hestelle Dorsey and Tommy James; two sons, Jessie and Jerome James; three daughters, Pamela, Vanessa and Barbara James; three brothers, Jessie, Clarence and Frank James; and two sisters, Ellen and Ola James.
He is buried at Blue Lilly Cemetery.
