Thomas Ordoyne, 55, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Lafayette, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010.
Mr. Ordoyne graduated from Nicholls State University in 1978 and worked in oil related jobs for more than 30 years as a consultant and rig supervisor. He loved his job and was committed to his work. He was a wonderful husband, father, stepfather, brother and stepgrandfather. He will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Duplantis Ordoyne; stepsons, Keith (Annette) and Brian (Jennifer) Pellegrin; sons, Nicholas and Joshua Ordoyne; sisters, Pat Babin, Valerie Bourgeois, Jean Bourgeois and Kathy Thibodeaux; five step-grandchildren, Austin and Bryce Pellegrin, Teagan Chartier, and Dale Jr. and Robinette Rogers; and two step-great-grandchildren, Blake and Caleb Chartier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Augustine Durocher Ordoyne; siblings, Nicholas Jr., Susan, Doris and Ray; and one step-granddaughter, Dannette Rogers.
