Travis McKee, 76, a native of El Paso, Texas and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
Mr. McKee was a member of Christ Baptist Church where he loved to serve in music ministry and visiting the nursing home residents. His favorite pastime was his HAM radio and he enjoyed playing the piano.
He is survived by his wife, Mary McKee; brothers, William Jr. and Gregory Edens; and sisters, Eddith McAlanis and Paula Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Denia Edens; grandparents, Roy and Vera McKee; and brother, Richard Edens.
Burial was at Matherne Cemetery. (Chauvin)
