Troy Patrick Sanamo, 45, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off, died Sunday, May 17, at 1:19 a.m.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Mitsy Collins Sanamo; his parents, Warren and Janet Sanamo; two brothers, Warren Sanamo Jr. and wife, Liz, and Corey Sanamo and wife, Tabby; two sisters, Rebel Callais and husband, Rodney, and Jana Cormier and huband, Adam; in-laws, Tedman Collins and wife, Mildred “Dritt”; brother-in-law, Wade Collins and wife, Pauline; six godchildren; seven nephews; five nieces; five great-nephews and nieces; and friends.
He enjoyed shrimping, deer hunting, fishing and attending the Cursillo No.111 weekend.
Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Golden Meadow, La. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La. is in charge of arrangements.
