Ulysse “Pops” Gaston Landry Jr., 85, a native of White Castle, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, March 31, 2014.

Mr. Landry was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and the retired proprietor of Houma Pest Control. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Club and the Civitan Club.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Landry; sons, Kenneth, Michael, Ronald and Joey Landry; daughters, Pamela and Vicki Landry and Cindy Cunningham; sister, Rose Parker; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysse Sr. and Inez Landry.

Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Falgout)
