Vanessa Renee’ Links Abbott, 57, a native of Galesburg, Ill., and resident of Bourg, La., died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
Mrs. Abbott was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was in Tupperware sales for 18 years and was a legislative assistant for Damon Baldone for 10 years. She was always involved with school activities, church and the community.
She is survived by her husband, Neil Abbott Jr.; sons, Neil III, Nicholas (Mandy) and Nathan Abbott; father, Robert Links; brothers, Bobby (Nedra) and Todd (Lisa) Links; sisters, Becki (Mike) Simpson and Judy (Hilary) Domangue; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Links.
Entombment was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
