Velma Pearl Danos Lefort, 75, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, August 17, 2007.
She is survived by her husband Andrew Lefort Jr.; one brother, Nicholas Danos; and two sisters, Bella Theriot and Melba Donaghey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nickless and Eliza Savoie Danos; three brothers, Jean, Clifton and Edward “Nick” Danos; and three sisters, Emelda Allen, Janet Collins and Jeanne Arceneaux.
Velma was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society.
She is buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
