Vera Danos

Vera Bourgeois Danos, 84, a native and resident of Raceland, La. died Sunday, November 18, 2007, at 6:45 p.m.

She is survived by her brother, Norman Pitre; and two sisters, Inez Talbot and Corine Pitre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalmas Danos; her parents, Wilfred and Olesia Robichaux Bourgeois; two brothers, Jessie and George Bourgeois; and five sisters, May Theriot, Una Robichaux, Nousty Foret, Sadie Bourgeois, and Ida Sampia.

Vera was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Alter Society.

Visitation is Wednesday, November 21, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
