Verna Marie Guidry, 88, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died Tuesday, September 11, 2007, 5:50 p.m.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Joseph and Marie Mary Hebert Guidry; two brothers, Lawrence and Morris Guidry; and two sisters, Leola Guidry and Laura Guidry.
Verna was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a retired laborer with Chauvin Brothers
Funeral services are Friday, September 14, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
